Project 52:28 Change is...

We took our first family hike in CO last Saturday since that's the day that hubby has off.

The Little Mister was a TROOPER!

We hiked around 2 miles up into the mountains and he hiked by himself the whole time!

Of course, he wanted to be carried back down, but can you blame him?

It was a great day for a hike. We has a wonderful time and are looking forward to more times like that. He keeps asking, "Can we go hiking, momma?"

Soon, baby, soon.

Project 52:26 & 27

Well, once again I've gotten myself a week behind. But, I have a really good excuse!

Two weeks ago we were saying goodbye to our sweet family to finally head to my husband's new job in the mountains. This is his family:

We saw the smoke from the wildfires in Colorado Springs. A few days later, though, we had a thunderstorm with hail that piled up on and around our truck!

On our trip, we were able to see some old friends and stay with my cousin Bri and her husband, Josh. I was so happy to finally meet her sweet baby Jo!

Along the way, the temperature was so hot that the Little Mister's crayons melted in his backpack that was on the floor of the truck! I'm quite thankful for the consistent 70ish degrees of our new town.

Shortly after we arrived in our new town, we were able to spend some time at the camp my hubby now works at. These are some pictures of some of the property. It's absolutely breathtaking.

One of my hubby's responsibilities as the Equestrian Program manager was to ride in the 4th of July parade! It was so fun to see him in the parade and I was so excited and distracted that I didn't get very good pictures of him going by... oops!

All ready to watch Daddy in the parade!

 Another camp parade entry.

This float is to represent some of the fun things you can do at camp... like hiking, rock climbing, camping, etc.

And, these weren't camp entries but I had to put them up because I love that they have a Stick Horse Show here and I thought my sister would like the puppy  :)

As Nonni said, our little firecracker:

This pict I had to put up for Nana. We found these on Pinterest one night and I finally made them for the Little Miss out of an old Starbucks t-shirt I had!
