Project 52:42 Change is...

So, my hubby was up the mountain last week. And, this week he's sick.

I cannot tell you how grateful I am for him and all he does.

We've done too much life without him recently.
I want him back.

So, when he came down, we went to take some photos.
Enjoy!

Project 52:41 Change is...

Hubby is up the mountain.

I mean, he's not gone for good,... thank God.

He's helping out with RCO this week. He's guiding and scouting for elk.

I'm a bit more lonesome than I thought I'd be... especially considering he gets to come home at night. But, he gets home late and leaves super early.

The Little Mister is pushing limits without his daddy. And, I think the Little Miss is teething.

Thankfully, she smiled a bit for her 8 month picts!
Enjoy!

Project 52:40 Change is...

So, the things I'm referring to as being funny changes are things I can't really take pictures of.

For example, the Little Mister does this thing where when one of us winks at him, he closes both eyes super tight and turns his head to the opposite side from whatever eye you winked with... maybe that's hard to understand. That's ok. If you can't picture it, know that I'm making a note of this right now because I want to remember it forever. It's SO funny.

And, the Little Miss is growling just like her brother did around this age. She's also scrunching up her nose and breathing in and out super fast. It's hilarious. I love it. I love their quirks.

I love that the Little Mister says "bit" instead of "bib" and "pack back" instead of "backpack." I love that the Little Miss winds up on her hands and knees seconds after you put her on her butt. I love that they are growing and changing, but I love that somethings are still the same. I love that they're still little.

I've had the song Never Grow Up by Taylor Swift stuck in my head all day.

If only...

* * * * * * * * * * * *

The pictures I do have to share are ones that were motivated by this article I read the other day. It totally made me cry.

I do a good job of taking pictures of my kids but I so rarely get in them.

So, today put aside my insecurities and got some precious gems out of it.  :)

Enjoy!

The Little Mister was a bit more into it than the Little Miss and me!

They melt me. I didn't even tell them to do this! He's such a good brother  :)
This is blurry and poor quality, but I love it.
